CUSTOM WHEEL ORDERING PROCESS
At Mecca Luxury Alloys we understand that our customers have their own sense of style both for themselves and for their cars. Rather than simply offering a set range of wheels and expecting everyone to like the same thing, we have developed a production process that enables us to literally make any wheels that you want. When we say custom, we really mean it! All you need to do is decide on a wheel design that you like, send it to us and we will make it.
Our ordering process is simple. Find the wheel you like, fill out the quote request form below with any reference images and some basic details and leave the rest to us. You can include a photo of your car if you would like to see the wheels on your car during the design approval stage. We take great pride in our every customer being treated like a VIP and helping to make their dream wheels a reality.
PHOTOGRAPHY TIP: Kneel down so your wheels are close to eye level when taking photos of your car and get perfectly straight side profile for best results with your new wheel ‘on vehicle’ visualisations. Lighting is important also, out of direct sunlight is recommended. Make sure your phone is set to HD and your car is in focus when you take the shot.
COLLECTING REFERENCE IMAGES: In most cases, you can save an image from any website simply by right clicking and saving it to your hard drive. When this is not available, you can try taking a screenshot and then cropping around the area of interest. If you are not sure how to take a screenshot, a quick search will tell you specific to the device you are on.
HOW TO PLACE AN ORDER
CHOOSE A DESIGN
Nothing can enhance the aesthetics of a vehicle more than a new set of wheels. When choosing the right design for your car, there are a number of factors to consider. We will take care of the technical and fitment aspects, you just need to find a design you like to use as a reference.
Request a quote
Once you have decided on a wheel design and are ready to proceed, simply fill out the quote request form below and upload any reference images you have for your wheel design and some images of your car if you want to see how your wheels will look on it.
engineering
Once we have a determined the design and spec of your wheels, technical CAD schematics are drawn up for by our engineers to create true-to-life 2D & 3D visualisations of your chosen design for your approval and Finite Element Analysis testing prior to production.
Approval
Once the engineers have completed their works, the true-to-life 2D & 3D visualisations are presented to you for your final approval before production commences. As an optional extra that is unique to Mecca, we will also show you images of your new wheels on your car for your peace of mind.
production
This is where your design comes to life. We use the highest quality Aerospace grade 6061-T6 lightweight alumium forgings and our CNC mills carve out the programmed design with precision detail. Once production is complete, rigorous QC is performed to ensure perfection.
delivery and fitting
Your new wheels are carefully packed and delivered to one of our partnered stores for fitting or you can choose to have them shipped directly to your door. Keep in mind you will most need to get new tyres unless your wheels are the same size. This is the exciting moment, the big reveal!!!
